Two armies commanded in one frame
A frame is about 42 ms. To give orders to two different groups in the same frame, a person has to switch groups and click again, which takes several frames at least.
Upload a .rep replay and get a per-player analysis in seconds: were there actions no human hand can make, when did they start and how often did they happen. You get a verdict and a confidence level.

Every player with recorded actions is judged separately, no matter who uploaded the replay.
Each vertical line is one frame (about 42 ms) containing an action no human can make.
A: two different groups given orders in the same frame B: another group reselected in the same frame right after an order Grey area: no verdict in the first 1:45
Suspicious frames per minute, counted from 0:15. A verdict needs the threshold line and at least 8 events.
Actions per minute (excluding the first 15 seconds). APM itself is never used for the verdict.
Whole-game values are counted from 0:15 to the end of the replay.
Confidence is the strength of the evidence, not a verdict; please review the replay yourself. The rules and validation data are on the detector page.
Every 30 minutes our server downloads the latest ladder replays published on cwal.gg and checks each game with the same rules as this page. Replays are deleted as soon as they are analysed.

An automated detection is not a verdict, and an account may be shared or played by someone else. So this page only shows statistics. If you want to know about a particular game, analyse its replay above.
Automated results, not verdicts. “Games” only counts games that lasted at least 1:45 and could be judged. See “How it works” below for the rules. Monitoring program by .
We never judge by how high the APM is. We look for two traces that are physically impossible for a person but come naturally to a program.
A frame is about 42 ms. To give orders to two different groups in the same frame, a person has to switch groups and click again, which takes several frames at least.
Right after an order, another group is reselected in the same frame. This is the trace an AI assistant leaves when it acts for the player and hands the selection back.
A verdict needs at least 8 such events after 1:45 and at least 3 per minute. Almost no control-group hotkeys means 99% (a program is playing); hotkeys in normal use means 90% (likely a human with AI assistance).

StarCraft AI Detector (by ) checks the game live and shows a note in the top-right corner of the game screen as soon as it detects AI. It never goes online, only reads the game’s memory and never touches the game.
No. A replay stays on the server for a few seconds while it is analysed and is deleted right after. It is never stored, published or used for anything else. The result is shown only in your own browser.
.rep replays from StarCraft: Remastered and 1.16.1, up to 10 MB each.
Remastered saves replays in Documents\StarCraft\Maps\Replays on Windows and ~/Library/Application Support/Blizzard/StarCraft/Maps/Replays on a Mac.
Confidence is the strength of the evidence, not a verdict. In our tests every fully automated AI game (12/12) and every human + AI co-op game (6/6) was detected, while about 0.15% of roughly 30,000 human player-games were flagged, mostly accounts that never use control-group hotkeys and look like programs. Please check the timeline and the replay as well.
A verdict needs at least 1 minute 45 seconds of play (the first 15 seconds are not counted, then 1.5 minutes). Very short games get no verdict.
Some humanly impossible actions appeared, but less often than the threshold (3 per minute). It can be a coincidence in the recording or brief use of an assistant. There is no verdict; it is shown for reference only.
Players without recorded actions (built-in computer players, observers, players who never acted) are not judged and are shown as “No actions recorded”.
An automated detection is not a verdict, and an account can be shared or played by someone else. This page therefore shows statistics only. Please do not use detection results to blame or harass other players.
